This past week at the Mendakota Country Club, Everidge participated in the 38th Annual Toby Tournament, an event dedicated to raising scholarship funds for hospitality students through the Toby Landgraf Memorial Educational Fund (501(c)(3)). The mission of the Toby Tournament is to support Minnesota Hospitality Education with scholarships generated from the annual Toby Golf Tournament and Awards Dinner. This annual tournament plays a significant role in supporting the education and development of future professionals in the hospitality industry.
Everidge was proud to serve as a hole sponsor for this year’s tournament and our team enjoyed engaging with other industry leaders and sharing insights.
The Toby Tournament was established in 1986 in memory of Toby Landgraf, who strongly supported education within the Foodservice Industry. Over $600,000 in scholarships has been awarded to Minnesota students through programs established by the TOBY Tournament partners, including the University of Wisconsin – Stout, Hospitality Minnesota Education Foundation, ACF – Minneapolis Chapter, and the Upper Midwest Chapter CMAA.
Every August, the Hospitality Industry gets together to celebrate the TOBY Tournament and support students entering the Foodservice Industry. We extend our thanks to the organizers of the Toby Tournament and all the participants who made this event a success. We look forward to continuing our involvement in such initiatives that contribute to the advancement of the hospitality industry. Please join us and become a member of this great event!
