Plymouth, MN – October 28, 2025 — Everidge, a leading innovator in commercial refrigeration and foodservice solutions, proudly supported the 13th Annual World Food Championships (WFC) in Indianapolis by providing cutting-edge cooling equipment that helped competitors push culinary boundaries under pressure.
As part of our commitment to empowering chefs with the best tools in the industry, Everidge supplied: 
- Two PrepRite® PBF 4.0 R290 Blast Chillers –These units rapidly chilled up to 40 lbs of food in just 90 minutes and froze 20 lbs in 240 minutes, all while maintaining a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of just 3 and an Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) of 0.
- Two 6’x8′ Cool on the Move Mobile Refrigeration Units – Flexible, high-capacity mobile coolers that provided on-site cold storage directly adjacent to the Kitchen Arenas, reducing prep time and improving ingredient freshness.
Throughout the competition, these units were in constant use. Chefs sprinted between their cooking stations and Everidge’s equipment, relying on the blast chillers to lock in flavor and texture, and the mobile coolers to keep ingredients at optimal temperatures. The feedback from competitors was overwhelmingly enthusiastic, with many expressing excitement and relief at having access to such reliable and high-performance tools.
